This errata is for In the Trenches: Opening Engagements only. The materials in subsequent installments in the series have already had the errata incorporated into them.

Rules
- 7.61 - In the last paragraph, second sentence add "Charging cavalry" to the list of units that cannot retreat.
- 8.0 - In the first paragraph, last sentence delete "are marked engaged after moving" and insert "have their commitment level increased by one after moving" in its place.
- 10.5 - In the first paragraph, first sentence add "strong points" to the list of fortifications.

Quick Reference Card
- In the left column, under spotting ranges, move the heading "otherwise" to the left margin. The "otherwise" condition is the converse of "Target has fired, conducted close combat, or moved X+ hexes in enemy LOS".
- In the left column, under Direct Fire, delete the entry "X1/2 shooting in darkness". Note, this is in fact true but is covered by the immediately preceding entry "shooting through 1 or 2 hexes of concealment". That is, darkness is in fact "concealment".

Operation Cards
- On the Rising Sun card under German set up insert "on Iltis Hill" immediately after the word "trench".
