The board for The Pursuit of von Spee is formed by four 12" x 18" map sheets making one 24" x 36" map. The map spans from the Indian Ocean just west of India to the Atlantic Ocean south and west of Brazil. The artwork was done by Éric Grenier and has used as its model maps dating from 1910, giving the map a feel for the time period.
