In the Trenches: Opening Engagements features three maps. "Jaroslawice" features farmland and a few hills over which the cavalry will fight. "Neufchateau" is the stage of the French and German battle for the village which gives the map its name. "Tsingtao" shows the outskirts of the German colony and the approaching Japanese trenches.

Each of these single-sheet maps are 12"x18" and printed on stiff cardstock.
